Over the next few weeks, school staff in direct services to students will be invited to take part in a survey to identify practices related to the management of the working time.
The research team of the PartageS project at UQÀM wishes to join the following job classes:
- School Educator
- School Educator, principal class
- Day Care and School Educator Service Technician
- Student Supervisor
- Attendants for Handicapped Students
- Special Education Technician
- Social Work Technicians
Working conditions of SSDSS (job insecurity, schedule instability, low recognition) are understudied, despite their impact on health and well-being.
Four unions (FPSS-CSQ, FEESP-CSN, SEPB-Québec/FTQ and CPSS-SCFP) have partnered with the PartageS project team to evaluate working time practices and measure their effects on job satisfaction, well-being and engagement of school support staff. In short, this project aims to produce data based on YOUR experiences in order to improve YOUR working conditions!
